Larry Gene Vidrine, 78, of Roberts passed away at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at his home.

Private services will be held at a later date. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Larry was born February 7, 1944 in Lecompte, Louisiana the son of Wesley and Dorothy Guillory Vidrine. He married Marcia Bezdon Snow July 9, 2005 in Loda. She survives.

Along with his wife, Marcia Snow-Vidrine, he is survived by a son, David (Kim) Snow; a daughter, Mary (Duane) Snow-Montgomery; a brother, Patrick Vidrine; one sister, Elaine Schuff Landreneau; six grandsons; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and a nephew, Ralph Cornell, who has been helping with his care for more than three years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Linda Vidrine Thompson; a sister-in-law, Verona Reed; and two brothers-in-law, Louis Thompson and Turner Landreneau.

Larry proudly served in the United States Air Force from July 2, 1963-July 1, 1971 obtaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. He served in several places, including Vietnam and was a Technical Instructor for Aircraft Jet Engine Mechanics at Chanute AFB, Rantoul. Larry was a retired truck driver.
