Lavonne J. Meuser, 95, of Paxton passed away at 2:22 a.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Accolade Healthcare of Paxton on Pells.

A private family graveside service will be held at Glen Cemetery, Paxton. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Lavonne was born June 14, 1928 in Dewitt County, Illinois the daughter of Alexander and Florence Kirby Behrens. She married Albert Robert "Bob" Meuser on February 23, 1948 at American Lutheran Church, Rantoul. He preceded her in death July 17, 2009.

She is survived by three sons, Lonnie (Janet) Meuser of Missouri, Steven (Debbie) Meuser of Paxton, Scott (Jean) Meuser of Paxton; daughter, Connie J. (Terry) Flesher of Eureka; 13 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Alexander "A.J." Behrens.

Lavonne spent her childhood around Farmer City. She graduated from Loda High School.

Lavonne enjoyed watercolor painting and crafts.
