Lois M. Dennison, 82 of Thomasboro; formerly of Paxton, died at 12:20 a.m. Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Carle Hospital, Urbana.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E. Pells Street, Paxton with Rev. Steve Anderson officiating.  Burial will follow in Ash Grove Cemetery, Onarga.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, November 5, at the funeral home.

Lois was born September 30, 1939 in Cissna Park the daughter of Edwin and Clara Strum Teske.  She married Herschel Rapp.  She later married Robin Dennison February 14, 2003 in Paxton.  He survives.

Along with her husband, Robin, she is survived by two sons, Douglas (Marilyn) Rapp of Portales, New Mexico, Michael (Leigh) Rapp of Rantoul; five grandchildren David Calhoun, Jessica Skinner, Sarah Calhoun, Donald Rapp, Lindsay Howe; eight great grandchildren; two step daughters Joanna Isenhower of Colorado, Dorothy Isenhower-Bryant of Danville; step grandsons John Enrico, Billy Koch and a sister Betty (George) Trout of Mesa, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant son, Donald.

Lois graduated from Buckley High School in 1957. She was a factory worker and had worked for Switchcraft and retired from ITW.

She moved from Paxton to Thomasboro in 2017. Lois enjoyed fishing, camping and growing flowers.
