Lois Rehder Holmes, 91 of Rantoul, passed away December 18, 2018 at Champaign Urbana Nursing & Rehab in Savoy.

She was born January 8, 1927, to John and Elizabeth Mary Grace Staton Kleinsteiber of Canton, the youngest of four children. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, John W. Kleinsteiber, her sisters, Grace E. DuMond and Ruth Mary Kleinsteiber.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Jessica Regina Holmes; daughter of her heart, Cathy Jones and her nephews, David (Denise) DuMond, Jimmie Craig (Cyndi) Holmes, William (Jane) DuMond and John S. Kleinsteiber and her nieces, Elizabeth (Jeffrey) Steele, Lyndal Kleinsteiber, Christie Lee (Chuck) Caldwell and Marcia DuMond

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at Christian Life Church in Rantoul from 12-1 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00 p.m. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is assisting the family with arrangements.
