Magdalene "Maggie" Elaine Peters, 90 of Paxton, died at 9:32 p.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at her home.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 30, 2023, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 206 E Main St, Buckley with Rev. J. Kevin Wyckoff officiating. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Buckley. Baier Family Funeral Services, Buckley is assisting the family with arrangements.

Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church prior to the service.

Maggie was born August 31, 1933, in Milford the daughter of Fred and Emma Dittmer Peters.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Rev. Edgar Peters and two sisters, Anita Rieches and Ada Peters.

Maggie graduated from Buckley High School. She worked for Howard Industries, Milford for many years and retired from there. Maggie was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Buckley.

Maggie was an equestrian and had volunteered at the Illinois Knights Templar Home, Paxton. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
