Marjorie Eileen Beland, 80, a lifelong Paxton resident, died at 10:20 a.m. Friday, May 8, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E. Pells St., Paxton with Pastor Barry Hinkle officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Loda.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Marge was born October 21, 1945, in Paxton, the daughter of Rhoda and Leona Dodd Pilcher.  She married Terry Beland August 29, 1964, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Paxton.  He survives.

Along with her husband, Terry, she is survived by two daughters, Stacy (Michael) Clark of Paxton, Tammy (Brad) Jackman of Gardner; two sons, Matthew (Brooke) Beland of Paxton, Justin Beland of Paxton; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; a sister, Rheta Brinegar of Paxton and a sister-in-law, Bobbie Pilcher of Paxton.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Willard (Donna) Pilcher and Larry Pilcher.

Marge graduated from Paxton High School in 1963.  She stayed home to raise her children and later went to work at the Paxton Thrift Shop and Farmers-Merchants Bank.

She was a member of the Christian Life Church, Rantoul.  She enjoyed sitting in the sun, working in her flower garden and spending time with her church Life Group.  Marge always cherished the times she spent with her family.
