Marla Knuth Williams, 51 of Paxton, passed away at 10:30 p.m. Thursday, December 31, 2020, at Gibson Area Hospital, Gibson City.

Visitation will be from 10-12 a.m. Friday, January 8, 2021, at Baier Family Funeral Services, 306 E. Lincoln, Buckley.

A private family funeral service will be held with Rev. J. Kevin Wyckoff officiating. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Buckley.

Marla was born June 28, 1969 in Gibson City the daughter of Larry and Sandra Lehman Knuth. She married Dennis Williams June 24, 2006 in Paxton. He survives.

Along with her husband, Dennis, she is survived by her parents of Lake Iroquois, Loda, a daughter, Ashley (Justin) Wise of Urbana, one grandson, Liam; a brother Ron (Lori) Knuth of rural Paxton; two nieces Brittney Marie and Logan Rae; a great nephew, Declan and numerous other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Marla graduated from Paxton High School in 1987. She received an Associate Degree from Parkland College and a Bachelor's Degree from Illinois State University. She worked at Larson's Clothing Store, Paxton until they closed. She then went to work for Hudson Drug and Hallmark Shop and has been with them for more than 30 years.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Loda. Marla was an animal lover and enjoyed crafts and cooking. She loved her job and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone. Her greatest joy was being a new grandma to her grandson, Liam.
