Martha L. "Marty" Luttrell, 80, of Paxton passed away at 4:45 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2018 at Champaign County Nursing Home, Urbana.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 5, 2018 at First United Methodist Church, 210 W Center, Paxton with Rev. John Hauck officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cemetery, Paxton.

Visitation will be 5 -7 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E Pells, Paxton and also one hour prior to the service Thursday at the church.

Marty was born December 9, 1937 in Columbus, Indiana the daughter of Jerald and Vivian I. Wells Peck. She married William J. Luttrell December 11, 1955 in Rantoul.

She is survived by four sons, Randy (Sandy) Luttrell of Champaign, Scott Luttrell of Louisville, Kentucky, Rodney Luttrell of Rantoul, Tommy Luttrell of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; 8 grandchildren, Jennifer Luttrell Hinderer of Greenville, South Carolina, Ashley Marie McCarthy of Tennessee, Randall Luttrell of Champaign, Melissa Luttrell of Tempe, Arizona, Emily (Kyle) McKenna of Urbana, Keagan Luttrell of San Diego, California, Brittany (Travis) Hawley of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Brandon (Jennifer) Luttrell of Gibson City; 11 great grandchildren; one sister, Sandy Young of Rantoul; and numerous other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Dube Snoddy; one aunt, Clara Embry; and one son, Ted Luttrell.

Marty was raised by her aunt, Clara and spent her childhood in Columbus and Indianapolis, Indiana before moving to Paxton in 1951. She graduated from Paxton High School in 1956.

Marty was a member of First United Methodist Church, Paxton. She worked in nursing care having worked at the Ford County Nursing Home, Illinois Knights Templar Home as well as assisting in private homes.

She enjoyed talking on the phone with her family and spending time with her dog, Missy. Marty was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan. She loved Christmas, which was her favorite time of year to shop for her family.
