Mary K. Kemmer, 73 of Loda, passed away at 1:47 p.m. Sunday, August 26, 2018, at OSF Heart of Mary Medical Center, Urbana.

A private Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mary was born February 21, 1945 in Gifford the daughter of Christopher and Hazel Siddens Sage. She married Butch Kemmer on November 13, 1962 in Rockford. He survives.

Along with her husband, Butch, she is survived by two daughters, Kendra (Jeff) Good of Fisher, Chris (Jeff) Butts of Champaign; three grandchildren, Laura (Chris) Fondia, Caleb (Brittany) Good, Conor Butts; three great grandchildren and a brother, Ronnie Sage of Paxton.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Tim Kemmer.

Mary worked for Switchcraft Inc./Sorenson Co., Paxton for a number of years before going to work in the law office of Dilks, Rodeen & Gibson. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Loda.

She enjoyed cooking, sewing, traveling and crafting and setting up her crafts every Saturday at the Urbana Farmers Market. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
