Maurice Raymond Boudreau, 81, of Paxton passed away at 11:41 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at his home.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Full Gospel Christian Fellowship, Paxton with Pastor Terry Cooper and Pastor Ken Young officiating. Burial will be at the Danville National Cemetery. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is assisting the family with arrangements.

He was born November 9, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan the son of Maurice Jean Paul and Eileen Johnson Boudreau. He married Gloria Lynn Lingle November 17, 1979 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She survives.

Along with his wife, Gloria, he is survived by four children, Troy (Dawn) Boudreau of Waterford, Michigan, Michael Boudreau of California, Gary Dupont of Farmington, Missouri, Misty (Scott) Swanson of Loda; 10 grandchildren, Candace McNamer, Joshua Allen, Danielle Raub, Amanda Beebe, Melissa Boudreau, Ryan Boudreau, Alexa Dupont, Megan Swanson, Matt Swanson, Mitchel Swanson; 10 great grandchildren; and one sister, Mary (David) Exnowski of California.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Ray spent his childhood in California. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1959-1966 during the Vietnam War and was a machinist mate in engineering on the U.S.S. Hornet. Ray had previously lived in Champaign from 2011-2021 before moving to Paxton.

He was a truck driver for 25 years and worked at United Oil Company in Missouri for 10 years doing oil delivery. Ray attended Full Gospel Christian Fellowship, Paxton. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing.
