Michael Lynn "Mikey" Hilligoss, 74, of Buckley passed away at 7:32 a.m. Sunday, March 23, 2025 at his home.

A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2025 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Buckley with Rev. J. Kevin Wyckoff officiating. Baier Family Funeral Services, Buckley is assisting the family with arrangements.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Saturday at the church.

Michael was born June 8, 1950 in Paxton the son of Richard Lowell and Irene Elfrieda Blanck Hilligoss. He married Rita Crane June 16, 2001 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Buckley. She survives.

Along with his wife, Rita, he is survived by two sons, Drue (Jacklyn) Hilligoss of Fisher, Skyler (Jaimie) Hilligoss of Melvin; a daughter, Kasey (Chris) Kanosky of Gilman; nine grandchildren, Kynnedi, Regan, Addisyn, Colton, Alec, Karter, Rylee, Haylee and Bailee; a sister, Nancy Perkinson of Arizona; a brother, Ron (Barb) Hilligoss of Paxton. He is also survived by many in-laws and special friends, Jerry Ecker, Floyd Schumacher; and his favorite kitty, Peanut.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mike graduated from Buckley-Loda High School. He was a truck driver for many years.
Mike was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Buckley and a volunteer fireman for the Buckley Fire Department.

He enjoyed woodworking, especially making bird houses and was an avid Beatles fan. Most of all Mike loved spending time with his family.
