Mildred "Millie" Sarah Bloodworth, 82 of Paxton passed away at 8:35 a.m. Friday, December 4, 2020 at Charleston Rehab & Health Care Center, Charleston.
Private family funeral services will be held. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Urbana.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E. Pells, Paxton. Masks and social distancing will be required.
Mildred was born September 19, 1938 in Boston, Massachusetts the daughter of Lendall M. and Sarah Edgar Campbell. She married James A. Bloodworth, Sr. October 3, 1998 in Thomasboro. He survives.
Along with her husband, James of Paxton, she is survived by two daughters, Tiffany Phillips of Covington, Indiana, Denise (Mike) Schneider of El Paso, Arkansas; two step-children, James A. Bloodworth, Jr. of Mahomet, Angie (Tim) Drollinger of Urbana; 10 grandchildren, three great grandchildren; and one sister, Jean "Dolly" Perry of Summerville, Massachusetts.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step-son, Daniel Bloodworth; son-in-law, David Phillips; three brothers and one sister.
Millie spent her childhood in Boston. She graduated from Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, Cambridge, Massachusetts. Millie moved to Rantoul in 1984 and then Paxton in 1996. She worked at the Dining Hall at CAFB, Rantoul; Rantoul Products for more than 20 years and Walmart, Rantoul. Millie was a member of Full Gospel Christian Fellowship, Paxton.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles, flea markets and rodeos, especially at Gordyville. Millie loved attending church and spending time with Steve and Jeannie and Terry and Beverly. Most of all she loved all her children and grandchildren.
