Nancy Lee Aden, 84 of Foosland, passed away at 4:41 p.m. Friday, November 20, 2020, at Accolade Healthcare of Paxton Senior Living.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 27, 2020, at Beckman Cemetery, Rantoul with Rev. Hank Berg officiating. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is handling arrangements.

Nancy was born June 21, 1936 in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri the daughter of Everett and Bertha Williams White. She married Al Aden on September 17, 1955 at the American Lutheran Church, Kankakee. He preceded her in death October 20, 1997.

She is survived by a son, Alan Aden of Foosland; two grandchildren Amanda Aden of Big Wells, Texas, Joshua (Emily) Aden of Effingham; three great grandchildren Chloe, Eli and Camilo; a sister, Edith Christenson of Gibson City and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter-in-law Christine Aden and brother-in-law, Rolf Christenson.

Nancy retired from Rantoul City Schools after 24 years; the last years as Secretary to the Superintendent. She enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles. But nothing meant more to her than spending time with her family and friends.
