Neil Lohrman, 67 of Paxton, died at 2:37 p.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 31, 2025, at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E. Pells Street, Paxton with Pastor Dave Hohulin officiating.  Burial will follow in Glen Cemetery, Paxton.

Visitation will be two hours before the service from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Neil was born November 9, 1957, in Lafayette, Indiana, the son of Donald V. and Nila Mae Pleasant Lohrman.  He married Maggie Wright June 6, 1988, in Paxton.  She survives.

Along with his wife, Maggie, he is survived by his mother, Nila Lohrman of Lafayette, Indiana; a brother, Mike (Magdalene) Lohrman of Oxford, Indiana and bunches of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Neil graduated from MSD of Warren County, Indiana in 1975.  He was the former maintenance director at Maggie's Groom Room and current owner of Maple Street Concessions.  He was also a truck driver supervisor at Central Illinois Disposal and Recycling of Paxton, the job he loved and looked forward to going to every day.

He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion and the Champaign Sportsmen's Club-CSC.  He enjoyed auctions, hauling junk, camping and food.  His greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.
