Phillip Ray Manship, 30, of Clarence passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018 in Elgin.

Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E Pells, Paxton with Rev. Tom Anders officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Phillip was born the son of Raymond Herrington, Sr. and Marla Manship in Champaign.

He is survived by one daughter, Alice Rae Manship of Louisville, KY; five brothers, Corey (April Hunter) Galbreath of Charleston, Justin (Becky) Manert of Milwaukee, WI, Doug (Ashley) Rollind of Colfax, Raymond Herrington, Jr. of Paris, Colton James Nelson of Gifford; two sisters, Christina Parks of Rantoul, Nicki Nelson of Paxton; father, Raymond (Rhonda Hays) Herrington, Sr. of Paris; mother, Marla (Bud Nelson) Manship of Clarence; maternal grandmother, Gloria Manship of Urbana; paternal grandmother, Virginia Slade of Urbana; daughter's mother, Amy Cantu of Louisville, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Timothy James Nelson and maternal and paternal grandfathers.

Phil spent his childhood in Champaign and Clarence. He graduated from PBL High School in 2006 and attended Parkland College, Champaign. Phil worked in the telecom industry for six years.

He loved playing guitar and video games and camping.
