Richard Dale Roberts, 80 of Paxton, passed away at 8:32 a.m. Friday, March 23, 2018, at his home.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 noon Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at the Danville National Cemetery, 1900 E. Main Street, Danville with military rites. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Rick was born September 4, 1937 in Clearville, Pennsylvania the son of Hillery Herman and O. Ruth Housare Roberts.

He is survived by one daughter, Angel Roberts of Gray Court, South Carolina; two sons, Richard Roberts, Jr. and Stephen Roberts both of South Carolina; five grandchildren and a brother, Floyd (Ruthanna) Roberts of Everett, Pennsylvania.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a special friend, Loretta Clark.

Rick served in the United States Marine Corp for 20 years. He lived in Walterboro, South Carolina before moving to Paxton 24 years ago. His favorite pastime was riding around and enjoying the scenery.
