Robert E. "Bob" Miles, 91 of Penfield, died at 5:58 p.m. Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Country Health Care, Gifford.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 23, 2026, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Penfield with Father John Verrier officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Penfield.

Visitation will be from 3:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday, February 22, 2026, at St. Lawrence Parish Hall, Penfield with a Rosary beginning at 2:30 p.m.  Baier Family Funeral Service, Flatville is handling arrangements.

Bob was born March 12, 1934, in Jamesburg the son of James Russell and Martha "Etta" Hargan Miles.  He married Mary A. Hosler November 25, 1954, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Penfield.  She preceded him in death June 3, 2009.

He is survived by two daughters, Cindy (Terry) Cler of Penfield, Kim (Barry) Franzen of Potomac; seven grandchildren, Tony (Audrey) Cler, Andy (Erin) Cler, Todd (Katie) Franzen, Amy (Sam) Bartel, Emily (Dustin) Remington, Jesse (Garrett Steede) Cler, Ryan (Bryce) Franzen; 12 great grandchildren; a sister, Linda Post of Houston, TX and a brother, Harold Miles of Potomac.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and siblings, Darlene Seaman, Bud Miles, Rich Miles, Melvin Miles and Donna Masengale.

Bob graduated from Armstrong High School.  He was a life-long farmer and loved everything about farm life.  He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and the I & I Antique Tractor Club.  His greatest joy was spending time with his family.
