Robyn Renee Camp, 64, of rural Dewey, died at 1:02 a.m. Sunday, April 9, 2023, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 14, 2023, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Flatville with Rev. James T. Lehmann officiating. Baier Family Funeral Services, Flatville is handling arrangements.
Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 13, in Diers Hall, Immanuel Lutheran Church, Flatville.
Robyn was born March 25, 1959, in Champaign the daughter of Earl and Marlene Johnson Eads. She married Bob Camp May 25, 1996, in Champaign. He survives.
Along with her husband, Bob, she is survived by two sons, Travis (Crystal) Griest of Dewey, Clint (Johanna) Griest of Westland, Michigan; her father, Earl Eads of Leesville, SC; her mother, Marlene Franzen of Rantoul; step children, Mandy Marie Camp, Justin (Brittani) Camp, Dustin Camp, all of Lincoln; eight grandchildren, Vance, Reed, Alicia, Talan, Rilyn, Daltyn, Carley Marie, Jessie; one sister, Shana (Brad) Gould of Rantoul; three brothers, Jeff (Cindi) Eads of Biloxi, MS, David Eads of Jackson, MS, Matt (Angel) Eads of Leesville, SC and her beloved pups, Brynn and Betty Jo.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Johnny Franzen and stepmother, Pixie Eads.
Robyn graduated from Rantoul Township High School. She worked for Vetter Fairing Company, Rantoul before becoming Assistant to the Director of Campus Recreation, University of Illinois and then retiring from there. After her retirement, she worked part-time as a church secretary at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Flatville. She was also the bookkeeper for her husband, Camp Heating, Electric and Refrigeration.
She was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Flatville and an avid University of Illinois sports fan. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
