• Rollie T. Seibring, 86, of Paxton passed away at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, September 13, 2018 at OSF Heart of Mary Medical Center, Urbana.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E Pells Street, Paxton with Jerry Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cemetery, Paxton with military honors by Paxton American Legion Prairie Post 150.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday, September 17, at Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton.

Rollie was born June 20, 1932 in Gilman the son of Elmer J. and Ella Marie McMillan Seibring. He married Alyce Sheehan January 31, 1959 in Paris. She survives.

Along with his wife, Alyce, he is survived by two daughters, Jill (Dennis) Herges of Paxton, Suzi (Dan) Harmon of Tolono; four grandchildren, Dustin (Stephanie) Herges of Paxton, Ella Herges of Gibson City, Christopher (Andrea) Harmon of Champaign, Patric Harmon of Tolono; four great grandchildren, Branson and Kyler Herges, Cairi and Aiden Harmon; a sister, Charlene Lindauer of Saybrook; two brothers, Clark (Carol) Seibring of Ludlow, Clyde Russell Seibring of Florida and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Eugene Seibring.

Rollie T. graduated from Paxton High School in 1951 and attended Illinois State University. He worked for the Nickel Plate and Norfolk & Southern Railroad before he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. While he was in the Marines, he was stationed in Korea and was involved with football, boxing and wrestling. He achieved the rank of Sargent. After his military service, he returned to work for the railroad. He then began farming and ranching. He was owner/operator of the Rollie T. Ranch, Danville Livestock and Hoopeston Cattle.

He was a member of the Paxton Masonic Lodge #416, Paxton American Legion Prairie Post 150, Paxton V.F.W. Post 4214 and Pheasant's Forever. Rollie was on the Board of Directors of the First National Bank of Paxton. He was a collector of cars, buggies and wagons. Rollie T.'s work was his hobby.
