Ruby Bernice Williams, 91 of Paxton, passed away Monday, May 4, 2020, at Accolade Healthcare Senior Living, Paxton.

Private services will be held at a later date with burial in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Libertyville. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Ruby was born June 6, 1928 in Orient the daughter of Delbert and Minnie Pearl Morgan Owsley. She married Edmond Williams, Jr. April 24, 1945 in West Frankfort. He preceded her in death October 25, 1976.

She is survived by four sons, Ted (Ramonna) Williams, Ronnie (Linda) Williams, Walter (Cathy) Williams, Bill (Teri) Williams; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a sister, Darlene (Tivi) Delgado and one brother Gayland (Stanita) Owsley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter, Carlene Wells; one brother and three sisters.

Ruby graduated from Orient High School. During her husband's Naval career, they lived in various cities throughout the United States. She had also lived in Buckley for several years. She was a member of the Loda United Methodist Church.

She enjoyed working in her yard and cleaning her house. But nothing meant more to her than spending time with those she loved, especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
