Scott Allen Kelly, 66 of Paxton, passed away at 9:42 a.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at his home.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 14, at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E. Pells Street, Paxton.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 15, at the funeral home with Pastor Jeremy Stimac officiating.  Burial will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Loda.

Scott was born March 28, 1956, in Paxton the son of Wilbur A. and Geraldine F. "Gerry" Allen Kelly.  He married Susan Dills March 21, 1998, at the Loda United Methodist Church.  She survives.

Along with his wife, Susie, he is survived by a daughter, Laura Peverelle of Lake Iroquois, Loda, one grandson, Dawson; a sister, Kathy A. (Vernon) Grohler of Beaverville and three nephews, Matthew Grohler, Andrew Grohler and Patrick Grohler.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Scott graduated from Buckley-Loda High School in 1974.  He was a maintenance man at Combe Laboratories and retired in 2018.

He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion.  He enjoyed demolition derby and monster trucks.  His pride and joy was his grandson, Dawson.
