Terry Wayne Watson, 64, of Bloomington, formerly of Rantoul and Gifford passed away Friday, August 9, 2024 at Loft Rehabilitation and Nursing of Normal.

A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Monday, August 12, 2024, at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E Pells St, Paxton.

A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Partlow Cemetery, Armstrong with Pastor Marcus McCollum officiating.

Terry was born September 26, 1959 in Danville the son of Lowell "Pete" and Naomi Creighton Watson.

He is survived by two daughters, Kara (Matthew) Barling of Danvers, Kacie (Stephen) Chauncey of Waskom, TX; three grandchildren, Mackinsay Chauncey, Forrest Chauncey, and Brynn Barling; father, Lowell "Pete" Watson of San Benito, TX; and two sisters, Debbie (Joel) Shenker of Columbia, MO, Abby (Aaron) Sieberns of Gifford.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Terry graduated from Rantoul Twp High School in 1977. He obtained a welding certificate from Parkland College. Terry worked at Kraft Foods, Champaign as a line tech for 36 yrs before retiring.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, small engine repair and riding motorcycles. Terry was an avid Cubs fan.
