Theadore "Ted" Steven Kaiser, 65, of Paxton passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at his home.

A memorial service will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E Pells St., Paxton with Pastor Marcus McCollum officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cemetery, Paxton.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Ted was born January 13, 1959 in Paxton the son of Glenn LeRoy and Patricia Ann Mulligan Kaiser.

He is survived by his son, Steven (Alli) Kaiser of Washington, Illinois; brother, Greg Kaiser of Dayton, Ohio; sister, Kim (Jeff) Brown of Paxton; three nephews, Chad Brown, Josh Brown and Joe Brown; and two nieces, Cassie Giesige and Katie Kaiser both of Beavercreek, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Doug Stewart.

Ted spent his childhood in Paxton. He worked for the Local 143 Cement Masons, Champaign for 28 years. Ted was a member of the American Legion Riders, Gibson City; the Corn Belt Shrine Club, Gibson City; Paxton Masonic Lodge #416 A.F.&A.M and the Scottish Rite 32nd Degree, Bloomington.

He enjoyed working with his hands, gardening, camping, riding motorcycles and going to bike events. Most of all Ted loved spending time with his family, especially his son and his beloved dog, Stella.
