Thomas P. Beland of Champaign passed away at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at the Champaign Urbana Nursing Home and Rehab Center of Savoy.

Tom was born April 12, 1951, in Paxton the son of Arthur Weldon and Susie Wheeler Beland.  He graduated from Paxton High School.  Tom married Doris McLaughin on November 21, 1985.  She survives.

Also surviving are his siblings Jerry Beland of Frisco, Texas, Larry Beland of Clinton, Missouri, Nancy Osborn of Woodland, California and Terry Beland of Paxton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Darlene Pierce.

Tom will be buried in the Pine Ridge Cemetery, Loda at the Beland family plot at a later date.
