Thomas D. Houser, 54 of Buckley, died at 2:20 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 25, 2022, at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E. Pells Street, Paxton with Pastor Bill Thompson officiating.  Burial will follow in Ridgeland Twp. Cemetery, Thawville.

Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, April 24, at the funeral home.

Tom was born February 11, 1968, in Paxton the son of Gerald and Patricia McConnell Houser.  He married Traci Harvick June 17, 2017, in Paxton.  She survives.

Along with his wife, Traci, he is survived by his mother, Patricia Allen of Loda; two stepsons Brock (Heather) Johnson of Crescent City, Ethan Johnson of Loda; three grandchildren Jude Johnson, Penelope Johnson, Araya Johnson; three sisters Wendy Marks of Reidsville, NC, Erika (Jason) Swan of Noblesville, Indiana, Michelle (David) Hood of Paxton; and stepmother, Kathie Houser of Paxton.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Houser; stepfather, Michael "Butch" Allen; and grandparents.

Tom graduated from Buckley High School and from a technical school in Nashville, TN with a degree in diesel mechanics.  He was the owner and operator of T & T Salvage, Loda.
