Anna Matilda "Tillie" Marshall, 97 of Leesburg, Florida formerly of Paxton, died Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at Leesburg Regional Medical Center, Leesburg, FL.

A private graveside service will be held Wednesday afternoon at Glen Cemetery, Paxton with Rev. John Hauck officiating. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is handling arrangements.

Tillie was born January 14, 1923 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Charles Kedge and Ruth Bush Vicory. She married Clifford L. Marshall June 29, 1941 in Rankin. He preceded her in death July 26, 2008.

She is survived by a daughter, Lindy Knoll of Hoopeston; three sons, Brad (Brenda) Marshall of Paxton, Kevin Marshall of Paxton, Brent (Nadine) Marshall of Leesburg, Florida; 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings; Bud, Virginia, Robert, and Rosemarie, husband, daughter Rea Joyce, son-in-law Dick Knoll, and daughter-in- law Margo Marshall.

Tillie graduated from Rankin High School. Cliff and Tillie first lived in Rankin, then moved to Hoopeston, and finally moved to Paxton. She had worked in the office of Drs. Olaf and Foellner, for Paxton True Value, and Wathan Distributing.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Paxton and a former member of the Paxton Jr. Women's Club and a Bridge Club. Tillie enjoyed playing pinochle and bridge. She loved knitting and crocheting and making gifts for others. She had a love for painting on a variety of mediums and she loved doing word searches.
