Virginia J. "Ginny" Gibson, 73 of Loda, passed away at 1:37 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2022, at Watseka Rehab & Health Care.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2022, at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E. Pells Street, Paxton with Father Dong van Bui officiating.  Burial will follow in Glen Cemetery, Paxton.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 23, at the funeral home with a rosary at 5:00 p.m.

Virginia was born May 3, 1949, in Meadville, PA the daughter of Frank and Julia B. Comber Fuller, Sr.  She married Roger M. Gibson, Sr. August 31, 1968, in Conneautville, PA.  He preceded her in death July 19, 2004.

She is survived by two daughters Melissa Gibson of Evanston, Rebecca (Steve) Gibson Goodnight of Paxton; one son, Roger M. (Donna Houtzel) of Loda; one grandson Charles Wesley Goodnight; one granddaughter Anna See; Aunt Nancy Mitich; three sisters Judy Groger, Veronica Barstow, Jenny Betts and two brothers Frank Fuller, Jr. and John Fuller.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters.

Virginia retired from Ford County Nursing Home Dietary Department.  She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Paxton.  She enjoyed crocheting, crafts, reading, jigsaw puzzles and her cats.  She always looked forward to attending the Covered Bridge Festival with her family.
