Wilbur A. White, II, 60 of Paxton, died at 8:42 a.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 18, 2022, at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E. Pells Street, Paxton with Pastor Terry Cooper officiating.  Burial will follow in Glen Cemetery, Paxton.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Wilbur was born August 15, 1961, in Champaign the son of Wilbur A. and Olive Kinnard White.  He married Barbara Walthers December 24, 2015, at the Full Gospel Christian Fellowship, Paxton.  She survives.

Along with his wife, Barb, he is survived by a stepdaughter and her husband; one grandson; two sisters, Virginia (Buddy) Thowe of Paxton, Barbara Kirby of Plymouth, Indiana; one brother, William A. White of Gibson City; a niece, Emily Thowe; a nephew, Vernon Thowe and numerous other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Wilbur graduated from Paxton High School in 1979 and from Lincoln Tech, Indianapolis, IN with a degree in Automotive Technology.  He attended the Culver Military Academy and was part of the Drum and Bugle Corps 1972-74.

He retired from BAC, Paxton after 13 years.  He was a truck driver for Nussbaum Transportation and K. L. Breeden Trucking Co.  He also owned and operated White's Limo Service and White's Recycling.

Wilbur was a member of Full Gospel Christian Fellowship and the Harley Davidson Club.  He enjoyed tinkering on cars, riding motorcycles and spending time with his nephew.
