Wilma Jean Sutton, 83 of Paxton, died at 12:25 p.m. Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Accolade Healthcare of Paxton on Pells.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton with Pastor Dave Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cemetery. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is handling arrangements.

Wilma was born March 2, 1938, in Olney the daughter of Raymond Andrew and Opal Irene Kinkade Blackford.  She married Robert L. "Bob" Wickenhauser February 5, 1956 at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church, Clarence.  He preceded her in death February 19, 1993.  She married Liston "J.R." Sutton November 2000 in Sidell.  He preceded her in death August 23, 2013.

She is survived by a son, Todd (Barbara) Wickenhauser of Florida; two grandchildren, Lacey (Kyle) Smith of St. Joseph and Kale Wickenhauser of Paxton; three great grandchildren, Landon, Vivian and Carolina Smith; and a brother, Dean (Phyllis) Blackford of rural Rankin.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Vernon Blackford and three sisters, Wanda Hasler, Ruby Frichtl and Betty Frichtl.

Wilma worked for many years at Bear Brand Hosiery, Paxton.  She had also been a driver for Ford-Iroquois Special Education for a number of years.

She was a member of the Paxton Church of Christ.  Wilma enjoyed cooking and gardening.
