Wyllodine E. Peters, 92, of Paxton passed away at 5:00 a.m. Thursday, October 29, 2020 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E Pells, Paxton with Rev. John Hauck officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cemetery, Paxton.

Visitation will be two hours before the service on Tuesday beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Wyllodine was born June 12, 1928 near Russell Springs, Kentucky the daughter of Elbert L. and Velva Richardson Smith. She married Quentin A. Riggleman on July 10, 1948 in Paxton. He preceded her in death October 21, 2007. She later married Rev. Edgar L. Peters on June 6, 2008 in Osman. He preceded her in death March 21, 2009.

She is survived by two daughters, Diane Banta of Woodworth and Brenda Tyler of Paxton; one stepdaughter Kristin Peters of Paxton; one grandson Beau Tyler of Paxton; two granddaughters, Kimberlin Oleynichak of Gibson City, and Allison Banta of Stephenville, Texas; one step grandson, Justin Collins of Champaign;
one sister, Sharon Gonzalez of Seminole, Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, one granddaughter and two brothers, Harlan and Waldo Smith.

Wyllodine and her family moved from Fairbury to Paxton in 1944. She was employed for many years at Electronics in Paxton. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Paxton.

Wyllodine enjoyed gardening, sewing, embroidering, reading and listening to /playing country and gospel music. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
